It also can purpose for a wetting and dispersing agent serving to insoluble particles including color pigments or inorganic sunscreens (zinc/titanium dioxide) to disperse wonderful and perhaps in liquids.  I also like this is in a tub, I do have some oil cleansers with a pump that do the job terrific, but I usually portion out solid cleansing
